Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We design with keyboard navigation, screen readers, color contrast and reduced motion in mind.
Accessibility tools on this site
Use the accessibility button in the corner of every page to:
- Increase or decrease text size.
- Switch to high contrast or dark reading mode.
- Underline links, use a more readable font and increase text spacing.
- Pause animations, switch to grayscale and enlarge the cursor.
Known limitations
Some third-party content, such as embedded maps, may not be fully accessible. We are working with providers to improve this.
Renovating for accessibility
Where a project is intended to support ageing in place or accessible use, tell us at the walk-through. Curbless entries, 36 inch door openings, blocking for future grab bars and step-free thresholds are far cheaper to design in than to retrofit, and several of them have structural consequences that have to be resolved before framing.
