Where the selections actually get made
Not a showroom of finished rooms. A working library of the materials we specify, at full size, in real light, with the structure sitting on the same table as the tile.

What is on the tables
Flooring library
Full-length boards, not 6 inch samples. Engineered and solid oak, wide plank, herringbone, and the tile and stone that have to meet them at a threshold.
Paint wall
Every colour we specify, painted out at A3 size in the sheens we actually use, under both north light and warm lamplight.
Millwork profiles
Casing, base, crown, panel and stair profiles milled in short lengths so you can hold them against each other rather than read a drawing.
Fittings bench
Plumbing and door hardware in every finish we carry, including the unlacquered brass that will patina and the one that will not.
Lighting rig
The same fixture at 2700K, 3000K and 3500K, so a decision about colour temperature is made once and not regretted in October.
Structure table
Beam sections, hangers, hold-downs and a cut-away wall assembly. Most clients want to see what they are paying for once it is explained.

How a visit runs

Bring the house
Photographs of every room, the crawlspace and the panel. A floor plan if you have one, a county record card if you can find it.
- 02
Ninety minutes
Long enough to make real decisions, short enough that nobody stops caring. We book two sessions for a whole-home job.

Leave with a schedule
A written finish schedule with product codes and the room each selection lands in, emailed the same day.

For a whole-home renovation, yes, at least twice. Finishes chosen from a phone screen in a parked car are the ones people change later, and changes after ordering cost money.
Of course. The library is open to them too, and we will give them the framed dimensions rather than the drawn ones before anything is ordered.
No charge for studio sessions inside a signed design agreement. The first walk-through at your house is free regardless.
Flooring, tile and paint samples, yes, on a two-week loan. Light fixtures and hardware stay, because they are the only ones we have.
